An annual publication needed to present content clearly while maintaining a high standard of design and finish. The challenge was keeping everything consistent across a large volume of content, while still making it engaging and easy to follow.
Task
Responsible for the full design and artwork of the publication, from initial layout through to final print-ready files, keeping everything consistent and accurate.
Action
Set up a clear grid and type system to keep the content consistent across the document.
Designed and artworked all page layouts, balancing images and copy so everything was easy to follow.
Retouched images where needed, correcting colour and tone to keep everything consistent.
Prepared all files for print, checking alignment, spacing and pagination to make sure everything was set up correctly.
Result
The final publication was clean, consistent and well finished, with strong attention to detail across layout, type and imagery.
It showed solid control across artwork and print, with everything working as expected in the final printed version.
