CREATIVE DIRECTION AND END-TO-END PRODUCTION FOR A FLAGSHIP ACCOUNTANCY PUBLICATION
CA Charter is a leading monthly magazine for chartered accountants in Australia. I was responsible for the full design and production of each issue — from creative direction and layout through to photography, advertising management and print delivery.
Working across multiple time zones from Sydney, I coordinated contributors, photographers and advertisers to ensure every edition was produced to the highest standard. My role covered everything from commissioning and art directing photo shoots, to designing the cover and internal layouts, proofing editorial, and managing advertising placements.
I also oversaw the print production process — attending overnight press passes to maintain consistency and quality across both web and litho runs. The experience drew on my technical background in colour management, pagination, and prepress — as well as my creative ability to balance editorial storytelling with commercial messaging.
The result was a publication that combined visual clarity with professional authority — one that continued to engage readers and advertisers month after month.
