Situation
Chandler’s Kitchen was preparing to launch a new restaurant, positioned to appeal to a broad audience with a focus on high teas and traditional dining. The brand needed to feel welcoming and playful, while still maintaining a sense of quality.
Task
I was engaged to develop a brand identity that could balance accessibility with a more premium positioning, and work consistently across menus, signage and marketing.
Action
Developed the brand direction based on audience and positioning, focusing on a balance between warmth and quality.
Created the visual identity, including colour palette, typography and iconography, designed to be both recognisable and flexible.
Explored multiple creative routes before refining and developing the selected direction.
Produced a brand guidelines document to support consistent rollout across all touchpoints.
Result
The restaurant launched with a clear and distinctive identity, combining a playful tone with a more considered, premium finish.
